Disneyland Vacation Packages

Disneyland Vacation Packages
If you are trying to find Disneyland Vacation Packages here, and not at Disneyland, then you're likely trying to find a different Disneyland package than what the park offers. I don't blame you. Those packages are going to be geared for people where convenience is a more important factor than price. That's my own opinion.

There are some great values outside of the Disneyland park hotels, and even the good neighbor hotels. In fact, the very fact that some nearby hotels AREN'T good neighbor hotels makes them more attractive pricewise.

When looking for a Disneyland vacation package, aren't you really just looking for a good deal, already put together and ready to go? My Dad recently booked his trip at Travelocity. He, his wife, and 9 y/o daughter were able to travel down, have a 4 night stay near the park, for under $400 per person. They bought their tickets at the park (save time and buy them online!) but what else do you really need? A free Travelocity (insert your preferred online travel broker here) account and purchasing your tickets online through Disneyland.com might be all you need as far as vacation packages go.

If you are a member of certain groups, like AAA, Costco, etc., you may check to see what your current Disneyland discounts might be. These can change from time to time, but there are often some *slightly* discounted tickets available through them.

My personal belief is that my hotel stay is the most flexible opportunity for cost savings. I can save $40-80 a night by staying at a Good Neighbor hotel over a Disneyland park hotel. I can save another $30 a night by staying at a hotel 3-4 minutes drive away. And you know, I'd rather have the extra $30 to spend on souveniers, or to have a meal at the Blue Bayou, or to get premium Fantasmic viewing. I know some people are willing to spend the extra $50 to have just the right hotel room, but as long as it's decent digs and I'm near the park, I... don't.... really care.
