I visit Disneyland as much as I can, but there were a few things that bugged me. I'm a Las Vegas Native. And I hardly, if ever, go to the Strip. You were wrong when you said there is nothing to do outside of Vegas. People that live in Las Vegas do go hiking at Red Rock or Mt. Charleston, you can camp there too. We do have a huge lake, Lake Mead, and it is usually very busy out there on any given day. Las Vegas is filled with hundreads of Art Galleries and museums. There is a small theme park too (Adventure Dome) that is completely air conditioned. We have many malls for shopping in town, 3 are on the strip. And we also have tons of golf courses. Lately we have been getting many boradway plays here. There are many Day Spas, and most of the Resorts have amazing pools. Mandalay Bay even has a beach with a wave pool where you can surf.
